Piano Funicular is a project of street piano music right in the center of Kyiv on Mykhailivska Square. Musician Igor Yanchuk opens an old piano every weekend and plays neoclassical music from memory that tugs at his heartstrings.
His playing is inspiring, hopeful and peaceful. Each of his street concerts is special and unique. There are always new listeners, who just go to the sounds coming out of the funicular or walking in the park, there are also those who come not for the first time.
And even the war does not prevent Igor from holding his street concerts further.
